I saw these guys for sale on eBay a few weeks back. They were assembled, primed, some were even painted. I reprimed the ones that were painted. I gave all figures a fresh coat of brown paint. Next, I gave the feathers on top of their heads a coat of blue. The beaks and breast plates were painted lime green. The rifles were painted silver with nickel colored blades. Tunics were given a charcoal color. I went back in and dry brushed a lighter brown over the body. When everything was dry, I gave the figures a wash of black.
The next day, I highlighted the feathers with a light blue. The raised areas of the skin were highlighted with a cinnamon color. The tunics were dry brushed with a light gray. The rifles were highlighted with platinum. I added copper shoulder plates and jewelry. The eyes were painted orange. The beaks were dry brushed with pale green. Every fig was given a clear coat and that was that.
Check out the photo. I am pleasantly pleased with the final product. I say, "Well done!"
