Crazy for Cryptids

 I want to thank Jon, Len, and B.C. for sending me a copy of a book that they have a new story in.  The book is called A World Unseen.  It's got a bunch of creepy stories about cryptids and such.  The guys (the Writers 3) have a story titled The Devil and Cleopatra in it.  It's awesome!!!!  I really enjoy reading their stuff but this story might be my favorite.  I included a link to the book.  Check it out!  Happy reading!

Reading is FUNdamental

Does anybody remember that slogan from when you were a kid? (I'm old. I admit it.)  I just got the new book from my old buddies, the Writers 3.  I got to know these guys a few years back and have been reading their stuff since.  I have featured their books on this blog several times in the past.  The guys do me a solid and put up pics of my minis on their social media every once and again.  

Future Imperfect contains a sci fi short story by the Writers 3 called "Peace at Last". SUPER!!! There are a bunch of really good stories by other authors in it as well.  Worth it!!!

Goblins, Witches, and Demons...

...and more scary stuff,,,and they are all in the new book from the Writers 3, Blood & Steel.  The Writers 3 are some writers from my neck of the woods, Western PA.  I've been reading their stuff for the past few years and it's pretty darn good!  This new book is a collection of fantasy stories that they have done over the years.  You can get it for FREE on October 31st  on  Amazon.com.  It's a nice little treat for Halloween!

It's Just A Fantasy

On my friendly little blog here I've posted a couple of times about some guys in Pittsburgh who have been putting out some pretty great written work.  They call themselves the Writers 3.  I've grabbed a few of their ebooks online over the past few years.  They write horror, sci-fi, and now fantasy.

I just finished reading their newest stuff in a book called The Forging of the Ring.  Not only are their stories in it, but there are a bunch from other writers as well.  The stories are about a ring with a wizard trapped in it that keeps getting lost and found over time.  I have to say that I enjoyed the book.  The best part about it...it didn't cost me a penny.  It's totally free!  I got it on Smashwords.com.  Check it out!

In an older post, I wrote about a book called Tomb of Terror.  After I read it (lots of great short horror stories), I wanted more.  In the book are links to the authors' websites.  I went on a few of them and since have downloaded or bought several more books from them.  I really like the stuff from the guys who call themselves the Writers 3.  I've included a link to their website: jflushing.wixsite.com/writers3  Check them out and see for yourself.
