Finis. This is my version of the emperor. The model is the Cezar of Rome figure from Scibor Miniatures. Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite figures that I have worked on to date. It is a great little detailed sculpt. I love the fact that it is uniform in size with the other Scibor figures that I used in the project.
I wanted the figure to show both benevolence and might. I think that it comes across that way. I ditched the base that came with it and used one from another model instead. I feel that it gives the illusion that he is on the bridge of a ship (perhaps before his demise??) Gotta say that I'm pleased with the overall outcome of this one.
Next time: Hail, hail, the gang's all here! (The reunification of the emperor and his sons.)
